School Year Camps

​​Who says learning has to stop when school is on break? At My Nature Lab, we believe an excellent education and an awesome adventure go hand in hand. Join us over upcoming school breaks as we learn about the variety of reptiles and amphibians at My Nature Lab through intimate, hands-on encounters with our live animals. Mixed in with our animal lessons will be games and crafts!

Critter Camps are different each day - sign up for one or as many as you like!


Students must meet the age requirements for their program as of October 1, 2024.

February 17th (President's Day) Camp - Ages 6-10

Critter Camp (Ages 6-10) will run on Monday, February 17th. One 9am-3pm session is open to twelve (12) participants ages 6-10 each day (age as of October 1, 2024). $120/session (food not provided)

Spring Break Camps- Ages 6-10

Critter Camp (Ages 6-10) will run March 19th, 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th. One 9am-3pm session is open to twelve (10) participants ages 6-10 each day (age as of October 1, 2024). $120/session (food not provided)

March 31st Camp- Ages 6-10

Critter Camp (Ages 6-10) will run on Monday, March 31st. One 9am-3pm session is open to twelve (12) participants ages 6-10 each day (age as of October 1, 2024). $120/session (food not provided)

April 28th Camp- Ages 6-10

Critter Camp (Ages 6-10) will run on Monday, April 28th. One 9am-3pm session is open to twelve (12) participants ages 6-10 each day (age as of October 1, 2024). $120/session (food not provided)

Summer Camps

​​Who says learning has to stop when summer fun begins? At My Nature Lab, we believe an excellent education and an awesome adventure go hand in hand. We’ll spend part of our days learning about our local species while tromping through tall grass and dipping nets in cool creeks, and part of our days holding, feeding, and learning about the wide variety of reptiles and amphibians at our incredible facility. While daily themes guide our activities, we are open to following every rabbit trail, both literal and metaphorical. Join us this summer for an adventure your kiddos won’t soon forget!

Critter Camp Ages 6-10 — 4-Day

Critter Camp is open to children ages 6-10 (rising 1st through 5th graders, age as of October 1, 2025). Camps run select weeks from 9 am - 2 pm Monday through Thursday unless otherwise noted. Open to 10 participants, $399/session

Critter Camp Ages 6-10 — Single Day

Critter Camp is open to children ages 6-10 (rising 1st through 5th graders, age as of October 1, 2025). Camps run select Fridays from 9 am - 2 pm. Open to 10 participants unless otherwise noted, $99/session

Critter Camp Ages 11-14 — 4-Day

Critter Camp is open to children ages 11-14 (as of October 1, 2025). Camps run select weeks from 9 am - 2 pm Monday through Thursday unless otherwise noted. Open to 6 participants, $399/session

Critter Camp Overnight Adventure

Join us for an unforgettable outdoor experience during our Critter Camp Overnight Adventure at My Nature Lab in Louisville, CO. Designed for young ecologists and herpetologists ages 11-15, this overnight camp offers a hands-on, immersive journey into the wilds of nature. Whether you're a budding biologist or simply curious about the critters that share our world, this is your chance to discover, learn, and connect in an adventure-packed 4 days!

Students and parents: please carefully read the Description and Policies to make sure this camp is right for you. Interested students and parents must complete a program application (students complete part one, parents complete part two). Priority application deadline is April 1, 2025; admission decisions will be sent April 15.

Two sessions open to 8 students each will run June 9-12 and July 21-24. $1600
